" I am Oluwakemi Akinsola, aka Kemi Famous, a Bespoke Journalist, born in the month of May, I am a graduate of The NIGERIAN Institute of Journalism, Lagos and have
years of experience in both Broadcasting and print journalism.
Currently, I host the Youth Matters Segment of The Sunday Show on NTA10 STARTIMES, I produce the Live show "Weekend Bliss with KemiFamous" on FRCN Bauchi since 2016. Also, I host/moderate Corporate events. I am a Compere, Voice over artiste, presenter as well as an Actor.
I started doing all these professionally while in school.
My first Acting gig (my debut) was a soap opera titled Eyoima: Maria quest, produced by Anne Oboho an Editor in punch newspaper.
From then, I attended a lot of auditions and also featured in Tinsel, amongst many other short films, cinema projects and Series. Among these projects is "Knock out", the first Wale Adenuga Production's Cinema film.
As a student of Journalism, I started practicing traditional journalism right from my year 2 in school, after which I interned in some print Organisations and also got a job with a broadcast media Organization when I returned to school. Since then, the journey to self learning as a presenter and independent producer started.
I started hosting the Red carpet of celebrity events in 2013 while also doubling as a presenter and voice over artiste, then graduated to hosting corporate events in 2016.
Till date, I have displayed my compere skills and talents on corporate, traditional, entertainment, religious and international stages.
Amongst these events are: the 5th year Anniversary Dinner of the Ooni of Ife; the Youth Anniversary event of The Elevation Church, Mainland; the Business Day newspaper's Nigerian Business Leadership Awards ceremony; WTFGH podcast launch by CNN journalists; and most recently Chief Abimbola Aboderin's June 12 book launch ;
virtual events such as The Martin Luther King Young Africans Recognition Awards, the United Kingdom education advisory service first global Webinar; Dochase Digital Advertising webinar; Pairview's Data Analytics young graduate webinar amongst many other events including Live streaming on Social Media
I am equally passionate about youth development and currently work as a Career Development Consultant in Data Analytics with Pairview Solutions Limited.
I have empowered about 50 teenage mothers in exploring income generating skills as well as helping them carve a career niche that will also not affect their motherly duties through my soon-to-be-launched NGO "Girls to Mothers."
I presently serve the Model Ecowas Group as the Vice President to the Nigerian Delegation. I am an interesting adventurer who loves to travel for fun.
