Music is one of the most powerful thought shaping and soul lifting tool on the planet earth. It is therapeutic in nature. Music therapy is an evidence based treatment that helps with a variety of disorders including cardiac conditions, depression, autism, substance abuse and Alzheimer.
Doctors are now increasingly enlisting music in place of medication and talk therapy as psychiatry's best remedy for mental health issues.
As we proclaim that music helps fast-track mental ill healing not all music can, only the one that carries power from above can do that.
Ephesians 5:19 says, "Singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart. It is to him and about him that we sing! Singing has a unique way of bringing people's heart, soul, mind, and strength together to focus completely on God."
Human beings are endowed with diverse gift and every gift have audience and location but the controller of the Gift will determine the location, audience and outcome. If God is the one controlling or in charge of a gift, surely, he will give revelation, understanding and direction to carrier of the gift (vessel) in their area of calling.
However, Music is traced to the Almighty God as a gift and part of the created order. Human music-making participates in the music of creation and reflects the order, beauty, and diversity of God's creation.
A statistics shows that an average person listens to 961 hours and 10 minutes of music per year. An average person hears roughly 1.3 million songs in their lifetime. It would take over 600 years to listen to every song in the world. Roughly 7.11 billion people listen to music.
Many people see that, gospel music has a healing power to positively transform mood, inspire and lift souls to connect to heavenly throne. Gospel music is characterized to be a message of hope, love, and faith via singing and rhythm. These messages are scripturally based and always help provide comfort and spirit lifting through Holy Spirit.
Gospel music was traced to African America community linage because of the sense of solidarity and the progressive history. Historically, gospel music helped enslaved people escape to freedom by using codes and spiritual hymns as a guide.
It is however suggested that, listening to classical composers like Jumoke Adeyanju who is grounded in the prophetic and healing word of God via music can enhance brain activity and act as a catalyst for improving both spiritual and physical well-being.
Who is Jumoke Adeyanju?
Jumoke Adeyanju is a song writer, composer, Gospel Music Minister and proprietress with diverse creative attributes. She is an exemplary gospel minister with probity who has distinguished herself out of the streams of artistes via her heavenly loaded music messages and rhythm.
She is the leader of the Jumoke Adeyanju Music ministry, the chosen vessel by God, ordained to proclaim the Gospel of hope, love and faith to the weary and depressed to compliment the work of the hero of faith which she has been doing actively.
Her pattern of music distinguished her from every other gospel music ministers because of her composing pattern, originality scripturally based content and character test.
All over the world people are appreciating God's efficacy in her life as one of the powerful music icon changing gospel music narratives in the 21st century.
She is a native of Owo in Ondo state, married to Pastor Olanrewaju Adeyanju a native of Ishaga Orile in Ogun State. Their union is blessed with God fearing children. They both graduated from Lagos State Polytechnic. She studied Computer Science while her spouse studied electrical electronics respectively.
Jumoke have 7 albums to her credit and it was recalled that she ventured into gospel music as a chorister. She vowed not to compromise the standard and spiritual life which is her viable strength.
1n 2010 she released an album titled Omimimile where she sang an evergreen song "Eniti o ba moore, kole dupe, Baba emi Moore, mowa dupe oore etc.
During Covid-19 in 2020 Adeyanju was inspired to roll out Good News album with about six (6) tracks namely (Good News, Jesu yi Jiya, Have you Ever, Moranugba, Halleluyah Medley and Baba magba) to save many depressed people across the globe according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and diverse testimonies are out there, glorifying God for the timely message of hope from her..
Three years after, another power-packed album titled Iranlowo (help) with about six (6) tracks namely (He cares, Iranlowo, Salvation, Modupe, Gbogbo Agbara and Let there be light) was released not even in Africa but in the western world, United Kingdom. She encouraged Nigerians that irrespective of the situation, look up to God for help.
2023 alone Nigerians have experience diverse hullabaloo ranging from cash crunch, election tension and subsidy removal which has lead many people to their early grave.
On Saturday, 20th of May 2023, the city of Luton witnessed diverse minister of the Gospel, fans and well-wishers across the world In His Presence to unveil the new album from the stable of Jumoke Adeyanju.

No human-being can stand alone and no one is self-sufficient except God, reason why we need the help of each other to survive. I have never seen a vision can survive without the help of other vision. Indeed, I am a living Identity of Help capacity. Hmm! Help can be Once, seasonal and lifetime. Help is not limited to financial alone - professional help, Recommendation, Humanitarian, Spiritual etc. The biggest and best help a man needs to activate others comes from God not from man according to Psalm 121:1 I will lift up my eyes onto the hill, where cometh my help, my help come God.. - Jumoke emphasize.
So many ministers now depend on alcohol to lift their soul rather than Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is my source of inspiration and he teaches me what to do per time. Every content that does not glorifies God will surely glorify Satan, there is not fence sitting. Our churches are now seen and passive as a club centres where sinners feel comfortable to do whatever they likes. It is due to lack of genuine repentance and believe in Christ Jesus.
Gospel music ministers too have compromised by commercializing there gift, adopting club pattern of music and rhythm to fit into the church setting. Most under-shepherd now encouraged them to repackage worldly music pattern to suit their interest of membership increase than Christian (Saint) raising, she lamented.
Testimony of serial help and Grace
Jumoke was chosen among thousands of Gospel music ministers in Nigeria as a case study at the department of Music, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for being an exceptional Gospel icon with scriptural value, originality, composition pattern and a symbol of Christian that live by their words.
When I received the call from students of Music at OAU that they wanted to use me as a case study of an exemplary Gospel music minister with diverse creative attributes, I was speechless and I said It can only be God, She express her gratitude.
In preparation for IN HIS PRESENCE 2023; album dubbing, printings and wears were prepared early to arrive in UK a week to the launch date but God said I have a new plan for you and Gods plan is bigger than mans idea. A day to the event we tracked the cargo items and it pointed to be in china, what a dilemma! Immediate, we decide to make alternative and God took control. After the event the packages was returned back to Nigeria.
In whatever challenges you may be facing, God is involved, just be patient, it is for your good. They are your message for the future,' she encouraged.
Devil always take permission to afflict Gods people and God is watching whether you and I will pass or not. If we can persevere till the end, God wins, but if compromised devil wins. My question to everyone, who is winning the battle of your life? JESUS OR Satan?

Advice to young Artiste
Let us proclaim Christ image to the world through our songs. Our greatest testimony is in Christ, any testimony outside Christ will fade off. You need to proclaim the testimony of New Birth in Christ to people, because every testimony that is not rooted on Christ Jesus is a fallacy.
Let bible be your template and source of content with the help of Holy Spirit. If you are not on the track seek ye the ancient way, stand, look and walk in it and you shall have rest.
If you are not in your design ship, you will end at the wrong destination which will makes you live your life under duress but if you can turn back and start again (repent and believe), your rest is Sure! Jeremiah 6:16.
