There is power in every name given to a child. It is a determinant factor to their future. Jabez was named due to the predicament faced by his parent and it manifested in his life until he cried to God for a change of name. Jacob, a betrayer was another person that started living a new life after his name was changed to Israel. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Olusegun Obasanjo, Yemi Osibajo, Pastor Enoch Adeboye etc are living legend in this generation we can refers to as  positive case study. This young star his towing a symbolic path of his destiny according to his name.

Who are we talking about? 

He is Praise Olaoluwa Emmanuel Adebayo, popularly known as Priazhym, a multi-talented growing young instrumentalist leading with heavenly mandate. He was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Olayinka Peter Adebayo  in Lagos State on October 30, 2006 . His father is a native of  Osun State and his mother is from Oyo State, western part of Nigeria. 

His passion for drumming  started  when he was 6 months old and started playing set-drums at age 4. His parent played a lot of role in positioning this young stars by investing and making him available for the task to fulfill heavenly mandate given to him. Praizhym as a stage name was born from his love in worshiping God with song of hymns. 

He plays many instruments like Drum set, Saxophone, Keyboard and Talking drum with strong Christian ethics with the fear of God.

Praise participated in several competitions, social and Christian events ranging from God's Children Got Talent (GCGT) in 2015 hosted by The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and  the 2016 editions of  Kids Says the Darndest Thing season two and Super Smart Kids Season one.

Genesis of his Musical Journey and awards

His musical journey began in church and school as other great professionals in the music industry did before they attained greater height in life.. His light started shining during the 2015 GCGT  global edition  for children between  age 7-9, where he finished as the first prize winner at RCCG Lagos province 48 with the number two person in Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibajo SAN,(GCON) as Pastor. 

Praise was the Regional finalist of RCCG-GCGT 2016 edition and a member of Nnenna and Friends N-Stars at Wale Adenuga Television who also became a second runner up at Super Smart kid maiden edition 2017. He was also honoured with MTN mpulse Genius award. 

Praise was recognised by the Top10 magazine as one of the most valuable kid instrumentalist with other Wonderkids across the Nation.  In consortium with Tony Iji Ohekuru, the Children for peace concert was held at the National stadium where he performed live with other great kid stars such as Temilayo sax, Temitayo Kayode, Demilade, Africa Michael Jackson etc. His First Halleluyah Movement Concert, Theme: Praise Generation was done in April, 2019. He hosted an Online Praise  tagged House of Praise Party in 2020 which was later supported by De Source Studio to stream live on Facebook and Instagram concurrently in August 2021. He was also a nominee for Creative Kids Entrepreneurs of ACE Awards Africa 2021. Combining the traditional gospel sound with the smoothness of contemporary praise and worship makes him such a unique Saxophonist.

Performance with Celebrity and Mentors

Praise Olaoluwa Emmanuel Adebayo as drummer and Saxophonist has played on same stage with Top Gospel artist like Mike Abdul, Bolaji Banjoko (Beejaysax), Tosin Bee, Odunayo Aboderin, SholaSax, TemmySax and others.

All Gospel ministers and Jazz leaders across the globe are his mentor. He mentioned few of those that have impacted in him directly, Wale Baolad, Bolaji Banjoko (Beejaysax), Bidemi Olaoba, Jerry Omole, SholaSax, Wale Sax warrior. He was also inspired by Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, Mike Aremu and Aaron Spear. His spiritual father  is Pastor Daniel Oguh.

Academics and Training 

A Senior Secondary three (SS3) student in the Science department of St. Graags College, Mafoluku, Lagos State; Student, School of Music Society of Nigeria Centre (MUSON) #Imoleayobalogun; Saxophone student, Baolad Music Ville, Ilupeju- Lagos State #Bsax #Walebaolad and Jerry Omole Saxophone Institute. Teachable and good looking Praise always inspire Children, Youth and Parents to discover their talent(s) and use same to glory God alone. I want to play on big altar of God like Redeemed Camp, Deeper Life Camp and CAC Camp, Mountain of Fire, Living Faith Tabernacle and others he envisioned. He has minister and performed at different gospel gathering, wedding, birthday, and corporate events in different states in Nigeria. He has  three tracks to his credit: Oluwa Dide, Praise Medley and Hymn Medly.

Praise loves playing and study animal behaviours and wants to be a scientist in future. He trained Dogs, keep poultry and envision to study Animal Science in the University.

Advice to Young Stars

Many Genius kids are helpless in our nation, my piece of  advice to them is that  There is no child without a talent, you are to discover your area of strength, work on it and use it in the right way for the betterment of humanity. Partner with God who knows the future you cannot picture and your glory will shine forever
