I'm Tired of 1930's Glory! ' Pastor Odejobi screamed

I'm Tired of 1930's Glory! 'Pastor Odejobi: The Transfiguration proclaimer driving CAC Administration screamed

The legacies of our founding fathers are still intact and relevant in this 21st century. The question is, are the youth working out theirs? Just like every other generation, the earth and nations of the world are overwhelmed with problems and challenges which human efforts failed to solve. In the biblical catalogue, young people were found fit for partnership with God to champion many noble and divine task among others.

Daniel and his friends stood for God, Esther, a young pretty Jewish lady was used to rescue the Jews. Joseph was not left out. David is another exemplary young man God used to silence goliath. Our own Apostle Ayo Babalola is a black man from the soil of Africa God used mightily who we referred to as an exemplary apostle in our continent .

The Brain Magazines was attracted by Pastor Odejobi statement on the final day of 2021 Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Akinyele Regions youth  conference held at Ikeji-Arakeji. He first of all corrected the theme to read thus:  Young stars in partnership with God not Youngsters.

Everybody is a star, reasons why devil has determined to hijack many beautiful future from the early stage via sin.  What can make your star to glow to the extent that the unbelievers (Gentiles) shall use it as light is your partnership with God, Isaiah 60 declares.  The conference theme is an eye opener for all youths to trace or track back their steps to the ancient path and principles of our father for this generation to be liberated.

Youth of today  are to be a nation where many people will live in, eat and drink from but due to the Satan identification number (SIN) attached to their forehead, they have become a naked nation living an  unfulfilled life as a star.

The Declaration

He declared during his admonition that  I am tired of 1930s glory!. Hmm!  Some youth grumbled until when he expatiated on the necessity for youth to go back to their founding fathers covenant that connected them to the greatest authority and power that no one can question. They walked and worked with God in truth and holiness.

Nowadays, Thousands of revivals of lengthy days are springing up day by day with no single prove of genuine salvation and transformation, why? This is plainly because they have  forgotten and  detached from their source. There is a saying that A river that detached from his source will dry off. Many Christians including  pastors have dried off spiritually due to their separation from the source.

However, Odejobi encourages  youths to set themselves ablaze for Christ in order to manifest the 2021, 2022, 2023 and so on glory to birth a genuine end time revival that the world can reference in this present generation, 21st century. We need a revival like that of 1930 but do we have the manpower or vessels consecrated for the journey through faith?

He said 'We have overused the glory of 1930 because we are lazy to ask for double portion of our founding fathers anointing as Elisha asked for double folds of Elijahs power.

God is indeed searching great generals and available vessels among the young stars, who are willing to partner with Him in truth and holiness in every sphere of human endeavour according to his world protested by Jeremiah 11:7

Therefore, There is need for youths to be Awake, Awake! Put on your strength as a divine and naturally equipped young stars with priceless potentials and capacities that can make you most treasured by God, if not, The next move of God in our church, nation and world at large in this end time era will just be a mere dream unless we wake from our slumber and become responsive to God in true partnership just as of old.

Who is Odejobi and what he represents?

Odejobi is the Twelveth (12th) General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, worldwid,  a great Minister of the Gospel and a transfiguration proclaimer piloting the administrative segment of the church for a total transformation. He is a man with probity and a conflict manager to the core with a humble background.

His little beginning

The prestigious and living legend of Gospel administrator at CAC was born to the family of Pa Abraham Odejobi, a farmer, hunter and pioneer member of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Ayo, Baakun  Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government of Osun State in July 31,1952. His matriarch was a trader who sells Kerosene and Aso-Oke. She was also a Deaconess in The Apostolic Church, Ipetumodu.

Every bus stop in the journey of man's life are part of the experience to be used at the destination of purpose. Before a man can be great, he must have a story to tell at the point of glory, pain to feel at the point of gain and mystery at the level of mantle. No wonder, people who were born into the home of hunting and farming can change to be a filling station of the Word of God where the transfigured people are raised and nurtured for kingdom purposes. Base on the biblical principles, God don't call jobless people, He called people with professions as our Lord  Jesus did to choose His disciples. Paul was a lawyer; Peter was a fisher man as odejobi was a son of hunter and electrical engineering guru.

Chronicles of His Academics

The understanding of church administration can never be a taboo to this great man (Odejobi) because, throughout his academic life pathology, he has attended diverse missionary schools from the elementary stage to higher level which gave him an insight into the church administration indirectly. It is also discovered that, Great vessels used by God to rescue His people from slavery and brouhaha are promoted from a low level to the throne e.g Joseph, Daniel, Esther, Samuel, David etc.

He began his academic career from Christ Church (Anglican) School 1, Ipetumodu in 1960 and later switch to St. John's Primary School, Omidi Onipetesi in 1964 where he completed his primary education in 1965, he was admitted into the CAC Commercial Modern School but due to lack of finance, he devoid it.

After four years out of school, he accompanied his friends to their school football training session, where he was privileged to be a goalkeeper for second team that had no goalkeeper. This led to his admission into Anglican Commercial Modern School where he completed his modern school education in 1973.

In 1974, he was admitted into Government Technical College, Owo. Where he was bagged London C&G Course C in Electrical Engineering, an equivalent of National Diploma (ND).

His Encounter with Jesus

Odejobi belong to a powerful group of genius students popularly known as 'brilliant ten' when he was in school, his first encounter with God began during His final year examination when his teacher billed them to assist for academic success. However, they started to looking for the money. He went to Mr Taye Odesola to rescue financially but  God used him for odejobi to focus on living faith, How? He advised him to boycott the payment to his teacher and gave an option of handing over the examination into the hands of Jesus Christ via prayer and fasting. Swiftly, he and three out of his friends opted for Jesus. Halleluyah!

Lo and behold! Those who relied on their teacher's counsel failed why Odejobi and his three colleagues praised the Lord for excellent result which invariably empowered his faith in Jesus .

Secondly, He was a beneficiary of Pastor F.W. Kumuyi' Pentecost tax which had a great impact in his encounter with Jesus for the set ministerial job. It all happened when the vehicle he boarded on one of his journeys broke down, however he alighted and used that opportunity go into the bush to excrete while the driver was fixing the faulty bus. There, he sighted an abused tract, titled 'no adjustment later'. The message broke him leaving him with no other time to give his life to Jesus Christ. He also read Pastor Kumuyi's tract titled Others' May, But I Cannot. The message of the tract also shaped his life not to join others to do what is not right.

He started as a local gospel proclaimer via evangelism before he become the number 2 personality piloting the affairs  of CAC Worldwide.

He was an interpreter  under Evangelist Segun Ilesanmi at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Itedo Olorun Iyanu in 1978. Hmm! Problem is  said to be a great tool for progress and prosperity if managed with Gods wisdom. He became the set man of God to stand in gap to manage the crisis.

In 1983, the crisis escalated and tear apart the Church then, he moved peacefully with a faction to become Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Irapada which is now a DCC and the other a Regional Centre.

Abraham was sent out of is fathers house to an unknown destination, he never complained but obeyed and his generation are benefitting from his covenant of blessings from God.
